Office of Civil Rights Response August 8, 2026
On August 6, 2026, San Jos茅 State University (91传媒厂) and the California State University
(CSU) received notice of a U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights
(OCR) investigation into antisemitism on campus, allegations from the 2023-2024 academic
year.
The opening of an investigation is not a finding that the University violated federal laws.
The university is immediately addressing a misleading implication in the , which attributes a quote to a former 91传媒厂 administrator. This statement was never made by any representative of the University.
The University treats antisemitic incidents with the utmost seriousness, and has taken numerous actions that prioritize the safety and well-being of all members of our campus community. The University has consistently and repeatedly denounced antisemitism.
We will respond through OCR鈥檚 investigative process. Providing an environment free of antisemitism and unlawful discrimination in any form remains a top priority.
