Over 30 campus offices and departments come together to bring you WOW 鈥� a jam-packed series of events, activities, and resources during the first 5鈥�6 weeks of every semester.
The goal - To give new and returning students a warm Spartan welcome and help them settle into life at 91传媒厂. From finding your community to discovering campus resources, WOW is here to make your transition smooth, fun, and full of opportunities.

WOW kicks off the new academic year with a bang, running from Thursday, January 2, to Saturday, February 28.
Do I have to be on campus for Weeks of Welcome?
Whether you鈥檙e on campus, tuning in from home, or somewhere in between, there鈥檚 a WOW event for you. With in-person, virtual, and hybrid experiences, everyone can join the fun 鈥� no matter where you鈥檙e living!
What is the Sammy App?
The San Jose State University app, also known as the Sammy App, brings services to your fingertips and enables you to connect with classmates and friends. Access events, calendars, contacts, maps, and more! Stay organized with the timetable function, which lets you save events, classes, and assignments.

No, although it is encouraged! Attending WOW events is the best way to meet people and become better acquainted with campus and university resources鈥攚eeks of Welcome features key events that cater to our students鈥� diverse interests. Taking full advantage of WOW will help you get the best start at San Jose State University!
