Since 2016, the College of Engineering at San Jose State University has hosted the
Silicon Valley Women in Engineering (SVWiE)
Conference to educate, inspire, and foster a community of aspiring women engineers,
professors, and leaders in
addressing current challenges. The day-long SVWiE Conference includes keynote speakers,
technical sessions,
professional development sessions, career panels, and the Innovation Showcase, where
the latest technologies are on
display. SVWiE also provides the opportunity to network with peers, hiring managers
and practicing engineers and
computer scientists.
