Court Representation
The Record Clearance Project provides legal representation for expungement to people with cases in Santa Clara County.
RCP students capture clients鈥� life stories in petitions by focusing on the circumstances leading up to a client鈥檚 convictions and what they have done to move forward. The RCP files court paperwork, arranges a court hearing, and presents these petitions to a judge who decides whether the client cases should be dismissed.
Given limited resources, currently RCP can assist only a small fraction of those seeking our help.
