Honors Convocation
The Honors Convocation is an annual celebration at San Jos茅 State University recognizing undergraduate students from all disciplines who have earned the distinction of President鈥檚 Scholar by achieving a 4.0 91传媒厂 GPA during the prior Spring or Fall semester.
The 64th Honors Convocation will be held on April 24, 2026, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Morris Dailey Auditorium. This year鈥檚 ceremony will honor the outstanding academic achievements of 3,200 President鈥檚 Scholars, representing the top 10 percent of 91传媒厂 undergraduates. While the ceremony is reserved for student honorees, family members and friends are warmly invited to join the celebration via the event livestream. As a neurodivergent kid with an incredibly hard home life, my grades were terrible. This award is proof that I can overcome anything, and be who I want to be...As a Spartan, nothing can stop me from fighting for my goals, and being myself. I can wonder, what great thing can I achieve next?"
