Grants Awards

Since 1932, Phi Kappa Phi has supported the educational pursuits of its members through robust award and grant programs. The Society awards  $1.3 million each year to outstanding students, members, chapters and institutions.

Fellowships

Established in 1932, the annually provides funding to first-year graduate students who are pursuing post-baccalaureate degrees across all academic disciplines. 

Each year, Phi Kappa Phi awards 54 Fellowships of $8,500 each, six of $20,000 each and two of $35,000 to members entering their first year of graduate or professional study.

are designed to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad. One hundred twenty-five $1,000 grants are awarded each year.

May 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027: Study Abroad program must begin during this time

Helps fund post-baccalaureate professional development for active Phi Kappa Phi members. One hundred fifty-five awards, at $1,000 each, are distributed each year.

Helps individuals who demonstrate the ideals of the Society through their lifelong activities, achievements and scholarship. Each awardee receives a recognition citation, life membership and a $1,000 donation to a nonprofit cause of their choice.

Honors an individual who has provided sustained, non-compensated volunteer service to others beyond the realm of academia. The awardee receives a recognition citation, life membership and a $1,000 donation to a nonprofit cause of their choice.

Helps undergraduate members for developing the research, engagement and leadership skills necessary to become a successful scholar. Fifty $1,000 awards are distributed annually.

In honor of former Executive Director Dr. Mary Todd, the Society will honor one faculty member with a $50,000 award to support a sabbatical period or similar reassignment of duties
