iSchool Students Find Community Through Social Movement Archives

From late November until mid-January, the San Jos茅 State Martin Luther King Jr Library displayed a vital and provoking exhibit entitled 鈥淏ut Often it Rhymes: Suppression, Resistance, and Solidarity in San Jos茅鈥, curated by iSchool students Alena Karkanias (MLIS 鈥17), Karl Grunwald (MARA 鈥17) and Elise Mills (MLIS 鈥17). The exhibit鈥檚 focus on student-led protest movements for liberation and against U.S. imperialism was particularly resonant amid escalating authoritarianism and nationalistic violence in countries around the world, including in the United States.
