91传媒厂 is pleased to work with foundations large and small. A small sampling of recent foundation-supported research, social impact creative activity includes:

people budget

People's Budget San Jos茅

A project of the Human Rights Institute at 91传媒厂, this research project involved the design and launch of a broad-based online public survey and targeted public forums in order to understand the experiences and perspectives of San Jos茅 community members. The resulting People鈥檚 Budget report reflects what people who live, work, and attend school in San Jos茅 think about community safety, policing, and the City鈥檚 budget. This project was made possible with support from the Heising-Simons Foundation.

Teacher Residency Program

In partnership with local K-12 school districts, this is a multi-year capacity-building initiative of 91传媒厂鈥檚 Lurie College of Education. While expanding teacher residencies in high-need districts and adding a bilingual education component, the project evaluates the impact of the Teacher Residency Program on teaching performance, K-12 student outcomes, and diverse teacher candidate retention. This project was made possible with support from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.

Veterans Resource Center (VRC)

San Jos茅 State University鈥檚 VRC is dedicated to serving more than 500 student veterans, reservists, National Guard members, and active-duty military each year, as well as 700 veteran/military dependents. The VRC helps students with a range of services to support the transition from military to civilian life and education to career. With recent foundation funding, the VRC is able to offer critical programming focused on Career Readiness, Healthy Living, Women Veterans Support, and Building Community. This programming is made possible with a grant from the Koret Foundation.
