Men's Circulo
We humbly extend an invitation to all students and community at San Jos茅 State University
that identity as men of color to join us in a talking circle.
The Men's C铆rculo aims to provide a welcoming space for men of color to build community,
engage in meaningful conversations about their identities, and support one another
throughout the academic year. We are interested in building a supportive system that
helps us understand our cultural identities, masculinities/manhoods, and identities
as community members in contemporary times.
The Men's Circulo will include dialogues, activities, reflective writings, and other
types of activities that with the hopes of fostering brotherhood and collective healing.
Humildemente extendemos una invitaci贸n a todos los estudiantes y comunidad de San
Jos茅 State University que se identifiquen como hombres de comunidades minoritarias
para que nos acompa帽en en un c铆rculo de pl谩ticas.
El C铆rculo Masculino tiene como objetivo proveer un espacio acogedor para hombres
de color con el fin de crear comunidad, participar en conversaciones constructivas
sobre nuestras identidades, y brindar apoyo durante el a帽o escolar. Estamos interesados
en crear un sistema de
apoyo que nos brinde la oportunidad para entender nuestras identidades culturales,
nuestras masculinidades, y nuestras identidades como miembros de la comunidad contempor谩nea.
En el C铆rculo Masculino se incluir谩n di谩logos, actividades, escrituras reflexivas,
y otros tipos de actividades que promueven la hermandad y la sanaci贸n.
