Jan English-Lueck
Jan English-Lueck is a professor of anthropology and a distinguished fellow at the
Institute for the Future. She is the author of the book 鈥淐ultures@Silicon Valley鈥�
鈥� an anthropological expedition into the everyday lives of people living in and connected
to Silicon Valley.
In addition, she has written several ethnographies about cultural futures ranging
from California鈥檚 alternative healers to China鈥檚 scientists. She holds a doctoral
degree in philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
